What is Futuh

Futuh is the SSE Operating System (Social and Solidarity Economy). It is a cooperative, free-software ERP with embedded artificial intelligence — no loss of autonomy — built on a self-hosted European stack. It sustains the day-to-day management of third-sector organizations: cooperatives, NGDOs, associations, federations, and social intervention entities.

Many third-sector organizations work with scattered tools that do not talk to each other: one spreadsheet for projects, another for people, a standalone CRM, a separate accounting system, a document manager nobody opens. This burns hours and loses traceability.

Futuh brings all that work into a single platform. Financial management, publicly funded projects, work with people, teams, and internal communication share data and cross-justify each other. If a funder asks about a budget line, the answer comes from the same place where the work happened.

An ERP closes one domain: accounting, HR, sales. An operating system is the common layer on which different applications coexist and talk to each other. That is the useful metaphor here: just as Android underpins messaging, maps, or banking apps without imposing a single way of using them.

On top of Futuh live specialized modules for each organization, sector, or service: Radar searches for calls for proposals, Silvio answers questions, Gestión de ayudas accompanies projects, Recepción Inteligente classifies requests arriving from outside. Each piece works on its own and multiplies when they work together.

Futuh is developed by the Asamblea de Cooperación Por la Paz (ACPP) together with the Consorcio Andaluz de Impulso Social (CAIS). ACPP brings the technical development, grounded in more than five years operating NexoONG as an internal management tool. CAIS leads commercialization and contributes the ESS Toolkit, a core with several years of real-world use in social intervention entities.

The product is built on Odoo Community 19, a mature, free enterprise management platform, extended with third-sector-specific features and a Federation that shares expensive AI services across client instances.

This documentation covers the operational use of Futuh for people working inside a deployed instance. It is organized into four groups:

  • Get started: vision, map, and first login.
  • Modules: each live piece of the stack, with guides for operator and administrator.
  • Configuration: user management, permissions, and the AI model.
  • Reference: glossary, changelog, resources.
